Watch this video if your sound is very quiet on iLactation presentations

Watch this video!

This is usually not a problem with our presentations but rather a sound setting problem on your computer. You may have found that watching regular YouTube videos is very quiet too. This video will take you through the steps required to change the settings for a Windows 7 operating system.

iLactation technical staff will be available for email assistance during the conference, but iLactation is not responsible for individual computer configuration and capabilities. Please also be aware that some places of employment restrict internet site access according to their own policies, so if you plan to view the conference from your work, please check these videos before registering.

Troubleshooting common problems

Suddenly the video player stops working

If you have been watching presentations without any problems, then suddenly the player stops working, try the following:
1. Refresh your page – this can be done using the F5 key
2. Close and re-open your browser
3. Clear your cache. Your browser cache stores information from webpages you access to help them load faster next time you use the page. Occasionally the cache can prevent you seeing updated pages or cause other functional problems. Find out how to clear your cache for the particular browser you are using to view iLactation content.

Poor screen resolution

If you have trouble streaming the video without pauses, or if the resolution of the images does not improve within a few moments, you may need to change the setting at the bottom of the video player where you see the HD button. Test the different resolutions to see which one works best for your device.
