Diversity Scholarships
World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated from August 1 – 7 in many countries of the world. We celebrate again in 2024 by offering to help IBCLCs, CLCs, aspiring lactation consultants, midwives, and other health professionals further their education with a number of full and half scholarships for our September – December online breastfeeding conference Breastfeeding: so ordinary, so special. The scholarship includes full registration and continuing education credits. iLactation is proud to have supported health professionals from 30 countries with our Diversity scholarships since they were established in 2013.
Applications for 2024 Diversity scholarships open on July 1, 2024. Closing date for applications: the last day of World Breastfeeding Week, August 7, 2024. Winners will be announced on August 20, 2024.
Selection criteria:
• Demographic Diversity (geographic, ethnic, social diversity)
• Life experiences or involvement living or working in diverse organizations or communities

The fine print: Diversity scholarships are awarded at the discretion of iLactation and decisions are final. “Full scholarship” means the full conference fee is covered. “Half scholarship” means you receive a 50% discount on the applicable conference fees for your country category, and you agree to pay 50% yourself. If you do not wish to accept a half scholarship if offered, please indicate this in your application below. Scholarships must be taken for the Sept – Dec 2024 conference and cannot be redeemed for money. Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible for further scholarships.
